Trust in Your Gifts: Release Self-Doubt and Accept the Journey

Encouraging Words for the Writer

Trust in Your Gifts: Release Self-Doubt and Accept the Journey,

Time does pass quickly. I understand and appreciate the fears you face. Self-inflicted doubt and self-sabotage can turn hours into decades. You are a writer. You were gifted this destiny before your birth. Step aside. Aside from you.

Trust yourself. Trust God. Trust in the great and wonderful gift bestowed upon you.

     Trust…and set the words free.

Trust. Let go. It is your path. It is your journey.

Have you not gone to works past to revisit old cherished characters and stories? Do not the words continue to bring tears, laughter, or suspense – even though they were birthed from your own pen? Do you not see or feel the magnificence and power of language and imagination? Let the words go. Set your stories free.

Trust in the Powers greater than you. Trust in your journey. Don’t stop yourself short of your Heavenly-Earthly goals.

Please dear friend. Write…write…and write some more.

Trust in yourself and your abilities. Writing is a self-less act. Seldom is there a reward for countless hours spent in solitude writing from the heart. Yet, as writers we carry the curse and the blessing of the need to write. Write for the passion of the words. Write for the passion of the heart. Please share words of encouragement for your fellow writers.

As a writer, I have done just that. We all must, for we are called by God. So glad I stumbled upon your post here. Sending you peace and blessings!
