Lazy Days of Play

Toil Happily at Work and Play: Seriousness with Moderation

I’ve been in your place. Wringing of hands. Wrangling work and life. A stopwatch existence. Accepting stress with the ring of success. My friend, slow down…take a breath.

Important it is to allow for lazy days of play and misspelled words. Gallivanting in flip flops and dirt to your knees. Important it is to strive for work at play.

God has gifted you the spirit of a child. A desire to puddle jump and play at life. Relinquish the ruler-slapping dogma and tight-fitting regimes. There is time and space for play. For when life’s obligations are viewed with grace…the work gets done at a peaceful pace.

Honor this life gifted. Toil happily. Joyfully play at work and work at play.

Seriousness with moderation. The key for relief of stress. Allow the innocence and splendor of child’s play into your life.
