God’s Love has Never Faltered
Abandonment
It comes in many forms. It drops men to their knees. It leaves children crying. It alters the self-esteem. It brings the heart to an unhappy place.
Abandonment is a form of abusive. Abandonment of love. Abandonment of conversation. Abandonment of heartfelt connections.
There are times when distance is the best course of action. But abandonment used as punishment is torture. Torture that leaves hearts broken. Lights flicker. Souls wander. Fears take over.
My friend, you walk not alone. God’s love and attention have never faltered. Forgive. Move on. Give your heart to God. Rise from your knees. Wipe your tears. You have always been loved.
You are never alone.

I was meant to find this as I wander along the S-curves of the path to insight and self-discipline, as I learn to shake off the self-restrictive ties that have bound me from progress.
… thank you!
