Barnacle upon Her Side: The Earth is Alive

Barnacle upon Her Side: The Earth is Alive

Heedance Paid to the Delicacy of this Place

Barnacle upon Her Side: The Earth is Alive

Can’t you feel it? The sweet breath and heartbeat of our planet. This place we call home. The rock beneath our heavily trudging feet. Substance giver of life. Our home.

We live as a barnacle upon her side.

Our path is intertwined with Earth Mother. She is alive. Carefully tending the water we drink. The soil that reaps. The air we breathe.

Walk gently. Don’t run. Heedance paid to the delicacy of this place. Harmony required. Her survival as well as our own. Make one change today. One change to save this sacred place called home.

One change today. Then perhaps again tomorrow. Take that talked about walk instead of the drive. Opt for glass instead of plastic. Recycle. Pint-size changes compounded by millions will make the difference.

Harmony required to coexist. One change today is such a small sacrifice to save our sacred place called home.

  1. Hoping our tiny steps in recycling, etc. will keep our earth beautiful for many years to come. 🙂
